Why Jung Matters? Core Principles of the Jungian Approach to Coaching | Laurence Barrett | Webinar

The Topic

In our attempts to create predictable and productive structures for our organisations and societies, we seem to have lost touch with our souls. We have forgotten that, as well as working, human beings also have hopes and fears, dream dreams, fall in love, tell stories, and experience the world with a sense of mystery and awe. Jungian psychology offers a lens which places the human once again at the heart of human systems. It provides a framework to understand the complex web of feeling tone associations and images that shape and define our behaviour and our very sense of self.

In this Eco-Leadership webinar, Laurence Barrett will introduce the core principles of Jungian psychology, considering the main structures of the mind and the way in which these are formed and reformed over the course of our lives. We will then explore the implications for a modern coaching practice.

The Agenda

In the first half of the webinar, Laurence will make his presentation and facilitate initial responses.

In the second half, we'll move into a reflection-application session:

- 'Composting': experienced peers work the material in small groups to sprout new ideas;

- 'Weaving': attendees gather to collectively reflect and question, weaving our experiences together;

- Discuss how we will apply learnings to our personal practice in Reflection Application Pairs (RAPs).
