The Topic

In this webinar, Faraneh will delve into one of Iran's most prevalent mythologies, examining it through the lens of Eco-Leadership. The session will commence with an exploration of two prominent Iranian mythologies centered around leadership, delving into their distinct managerial approaches. Both narratives revolve around a harrowing period in the lives of the people, yet their management styles markedly differ. One narrative unfolds as a classic messianic scenario, portraying an elderly figure sacrificing for the entire nation. In contrast, the other narrative adopts an Eco-Leadership approach. She will carefully compare these mythologies, extracting insights that can be applied to everyday scenarios and leadership in today's times.

The Agenda

In the first half of the webinar, Faraneh will make her presentation and facilitate initial responses.

In the second half, we'll move into a reflection-application session:

- 'Composting': experienced peers work the material in small groups to sprout new ideas;

- 'Weaving': attendees gather to collectively reflect and question, weaving our experiences together;

- Discuss how we will apply learnings to our personal practice in Reflection Application Pairs (RAPs).

The Speaker

Faraneh is a psychiatrist and psychodynamic psychotherapist. She learned about GRC and the different ways one might benefit from psychoanalytic theories during her residency. She is currently in ANC training.
